Just seen the typhoons on their way for Sunday Monday. Flipping eck, every time I try and game these days something happens. They usually stop the kintetsu trains when typhoons come. If miraculously they go away Ill join otherwise its another failed trip. Boo sucks

If for some reason the typhoon goes away Ill play Epic and whatever Mike wants to play in the afternoon. BP, fantasy or Fow.

FoW! :)

That would be even exciting to watch! (for me)

If somehow there's time, I'll be up for Mordheim, but that is unfortunately criteria 3 for me. I seems very unlikely I could get 3 games in.

Edit: Oh, boo hoo. Sucks to typhoons. :(

It doesn't look like the typhoon will arrive until Monday, if it hits us at all.

So a quickish demo of Epic in the AM? Cool beans!

(If the typhoon doesn't come, natch. Knock on wood!)

@ashmie: I'm up for some Fantasy in the afternoon if you are mate. Can you do 2500pts? I wanna get some practice in before Orctober-fest.
It would also be remiss of me not to warn you that I'm bringing Daemons (my tourney list - see above) which is pretty 'ard. It's not über waacey cheese (no Khorne at all) but it is definitely NOT the bland Japanese supermarket stuff.

P.S. cheese and Khorne? Sounds like a Japanese pizza.

Sure thing. I'll play to give as much of an orc and gobbo stomp before the daemons of chaos close in. Are you using characters? I'll work out a list for 2500. Thanks, last time we played it was 7th ed. I'll look forward to it and hope the weather holds.

I don't have any special characters but feel free to use them if you like.
8th isn't too different from the last edition. The major changes were to the magic phase (more random), charges (more random), large units (more difficult to budge) and close combat (more people get to fight).
See ya on Sunday

Can't bloomin wait. I'll bring an Iron Maiden t shirt for the afternoon game then.
I've played 8th 3 times I think. I'll read the rules over again tomorrow. Great fun.

I won't come to Joshin this month, partly because I'd like to exchange it with joining in to Orc-tober Fest tournament. Partly because I feel a bit worn-out and need a rest. ;)
Hope the typhoon will get away and you guys will have fun! :D
