Johin September?
Re: Johin September?
@Prim- My chaps will be mostly infantry. Probably no AT as I havent assembled the necessary model. There will most likely be one tank of sorts..actually it's a model I picked up of a WWI Mark IV, reason being that there is a case of such a tank being adopted by the Home Guard and pressed into service! thought it was just the job to add some colour to my force. I think it can simply count as one of the tanks home guard have access to.
More info on the history of that here. An FoW gamer did the same thing and used a Mark IV in 15mm

@Konrad-It'll be great if we can get some SA in, good stuff! It need only be a handful of figures after all. I'll bring lurkers and threshold in any case.

Charles remains sadly friendless for now. However Commander Oversight has been hiring loads of Blood Axe orks in a forlorn attempt to discover how their ships move faster than light.
Charles is sure to make some friends once I paint all the models I have now. Perhaps next year.

Got a message from Stooge. He says he'll be up in the morning, so we'll be starting Gorkamorka at 10. Anyone else who wants to jump in, shout out! Auxryn and ....? I figure we'll do "Da Rumble" scenario. Each player gets one vehicle a driver, a big gun and gunner, or two passengers. Keeps the model count down and a good way to introduce the game to multiple players. Start things off with a big demolition derby!

Shall I bring my own models?
If not I could keep nimotsu to a minimum, not that that is any fun. Warboss Ripgorr has a new suit of mega armor he's just murderous to try out.

Re: Johin September?
Gorkamorka you talkin' bout? You only need a trukk and half a dozen boyz. If you are packin' your 40K stuff, you can just use bitz out of that. I only mentioned the model count, as Gorkamorka has more than a few fiddly rules, and I have not played much in the last 15 years. So, if we do a multi player intro sort of game, simple is better.Auxryn wrote:Shall I bring my own models?

What model are you using for Ripgorr? I have a converted Ghazzgull for my Mega Warlord.

Re: Johin September?
Ripgorr is using the Ghazgul model as well. It was a little intimidating to paint but I'm pretty happy with him.
Anyway I'll bring at least some orks so I should have easily enough stuff for Gorkamorka.

@ Underdweller: Do you want to make this a campaign side game? I haven't played anything for the campaign for 6 months so I kind of would like to get back on the horse with it.

Sure- I was thinking of trying out one of the named characters in my army book - is that allowed in a side game? (he's not in my campaign army, obviously)job wrote:@ Underdweller: Do you want to make this a campaign side game?
