Got a couple of small games of Advanced Space Crusade in, too, and they were good fun, even if they confirmed my suspicions that the game is balanced a bit in the Marines' favor. Still, got some good ideas about what to tweak (3 Termagants per blip instead of two, maybe beef up reinforcement numbers), so we can move forward! It's a Jervis Johnson joint, so you know the core is good stuff, heh.

Well, the rivers were hard for you - all my guys had jump!
I'm glad Xaxor turned out to be fun to play. He's probably my favorite Planet Eater monster.

I'm sure your wife will be happy about that!asch wrote:I'm home and have done all the housekeeping jobs in the absence of my son and wife
Thank you all for coming to the unusual venue!
You are a great opponent, Asch; you know the rules well and helped me out when I forgot something, like parry saves. Once you get to know the rules of the new Lizards better I guess you will have more luck.asch wrote: @The Underdweller
Thank you for playing the campaign game! Though I've lost the battle, I think I made some progress in fighting against Lizardmen. Your Skink Skirmishers did their job as always. I'll gladly give Chameleon Skinks an experience point (Loser nomination) and the title, "the bane of warmachines."
Thanks for the title for my Chameleon Skinks. They are a bit more expensive than they used to be, and have lower leadership, but they still a great unit I never leave home without!

@ Asch and Underdweller: I second that title! Those slippery chameleons have caused untold grief to the dwarves!
They deserve veteran status and a fitting title.

Thanks for the games of advanced space crusade!
It didn't go well for the bugs, but it sure was a blast.
