@Konrad - Did you leave your newly aquired desert mat behind at Joshin last month?
Naturally. Who else? It's not a game if I don't leave a brick of dice or a piece of terrain behind. Though I do believe I have set a new record in terms of size with the mat.....

Hey all,

Just got word that one of my wife's relatives has past away and I have to attend the funeral in the morning

The event is still on. I will get to the venue early, open the doors and leave some terrain in the room. Feel free to use it.

I will be there in the afternoon. Probably around 2:00.

Have fun guys!

Thanks for the games, all! That was one of the busiest days of gaming I've had for a while.

The Samurai game and Bang! were a lot of fun. Now that I know how Bang is played, I will be suggesting it a lot more when I go to "board game" days!

DL, that timed game was super intense, especially with such a detail-heavy game as Warmachine. In some ways it is a good idea, though, given how long that game can take otherwise!

Thanks for the games everyone. I'm glad people liked Ronin, I will work on expanding my warbands so that there is a little more variety in them.
Bang! was fun, even though I got Bang!ed to death by Indian raids.

@ Prim - Glad you had fun and got to intro a new game. We have gotta play Space Cadets sometime. It is awesome!

@ Underdweller - It was definitely worth the practice. Were other armies pretty small numbers/high points cost last year??

Good games all. Ronin was fun. Seems strange that as long as I've lived and geeked in Japan, I've never done any Japanese themed mini games until yesterday.
Bang! was a rootin' tootin' shootin' good time as always. Though we all were singing, "I fought the law and the law won" by the end.
