Drat.. Koji Bear beat me to it. Deffo Captain Needa who made the aforementioned apology.

Though IIRC he killed Admiral Ozzel first, for coming out of hyperspace to close to Hoth, and then Needa for losing the Millenium Falcon as they tried to escape Hoth. :ugeek:

Meanwhile the navigator and the radar operator breathed a sigh of relief.

Yeah he kills the first guy and then gives the Admiral title to the second guy in charge. Hence, apology accepted... Admiral.

Gotta love the look on the guy in the background's face in the first vid.

Hardcore geek factoid: The guy playing General Veers was the guy who played the villain in Indy Jones 3.

The guy playing Admiral Ozzel was also in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - as Hitler. He was also Mr. Bronson in Grange Hill.

Wow it's completely different to how I remember it. I used to watch the originally trilogy on vhs 20 years ago and I was sure he said apology accepted Admiral. It turns out it's Captain Needa and he says you have failed me for the last time Admiral. Is there a possibility this script has been re hashed in the last 20 years with all the re releases. I don't even remember a name for Captain Needa or that the Admiral even had a name.
Has it been added?

Look this Star Wars blogger seems confused about it too. http://blogs.starwars.com/smileyspudman

Perhaps not, I can't find any evidence that he did used to say that. Unless I buy a vhs recorder we will never know.
