Well, today's Joshin event was pretty sparsely populated to say the least. Although there were 4 free tables (could've even had a fifth) there were a grand total of 3 games played over the course of the day

Game 1:
Underdweller (Tau) vs Mike_the_Pike (Eldar)

A bloody draw over 7 turns.
Both used generic HQs.
Normal mission
Game Highlight: Not a single assault in the whole 7 turns.

Game 2:

Asch (Grey Knights) vs Mike_the_Pike (Eldar)

The Gk's spanked the Space Elves silly in only 3 turns! :(
Both used generic HQs.
Normal mission
Game Highlight: A bladestorm from 6x Dire Avengers killing a 5 man GK squad and an Inquisitor in one go!

Game 3:

Auxryn (Tau)vs Iida-san(?) (Ultramarines)
A victory for the Tau

Despite the lack of warm bodies it was a good day out. Cheers Asch and Underdweller for the games. It was nice to see some new faces too (Mr & Mrs Auxryn and Iida-san).
Morituri nolumus mori!

Indeed, Prim. I too, was at home when the plumbers arrived. They were not as scary as I assumed my Mrs. believed them to be. They also did their business...hmm poor choice of words for plumbers...they finished their job in ten minutes :?

Hope to see you all at the next Joshin :)

Same here. I'm itching for game after so long, but had to go out of town.

Next month (fingers crossed) I ought to be able to make it out.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Well, it was a fun day, even if there weren't many people there!

It was my first real game against Eldar. They are actually quite Tau-like in a lot of ways. I also attempted my first (and probably last) tank ramming attack in 5th edition-I can see why it is not a popular option...

I also enjoyed "GMing" Auxryn and Iida-san's game, although I actually spent 95% of it talking with Mrs. Auxryn; which was fine as Mr. Auxryn knows the rules better than me, despite it being his first game!

Thanks to Mike forthe match against my GK!
It was rather a close match despites the outcome.I supposed my dreadKnight would be fried by fire dragons after he clippeled their transport.

I also had an opportunity to talk with Kondo-san about our strategy in coming Storm of Magic game.
In July, Joshin will be available for two days ( 28th Sat.and 29th Sun.) We will play SoM in 28 with a guest from Okinawa.
