Edit- The weather forecast isn't great for Kuwana tomorrow...google says heavy rain / rain storm (as well as 30 degree heat, 90% humidity). Fingers crossed.

At the time of this post, the rain has stopped (although it may be temporary). But by 9:30 it should be ok. I will post again in the morning.

Not sure about buses, I will have to research that for next month.

Sorry folks but I think it's better to err on the side of caution today, so I won't be coming to Kuwana today.

Humblest apologies to Dungeon Lord but with a 'Special' heavy rain warning, as well as flood and strong wind warnings in place in Mie, I think driving one and a half hours into the heart of things might not be prudent.

It also looks as though the trains are either not running (express trains) or delayed ( the rest of 'em).

Sorry everyone, I'll be staying at home too. It's not good here even close to Nagoya, and trains are delayed. I'm sure Mie is worse. In this wind and rain, it will be a struggle to get the venue on foot laden with games.

That's 3 people I never usually hear from have e mailed and asked if I'm ok because they heard it was bad in Tsu so I'm going to have a look out of my window finally to check the damage. I had no idea, I've just been in my apartment all weekend. I thought the typhoon would have moved by now it seems to be hanging around for tea.
