@mus - do you have all the KZ rules printed at your place? only, i dont and my printer is a bit lacking on the ink front...

@all - is it a terrible thing to have a 201pt kill team? I mean, are people going to minge? Cheapest piece of wargear I can drop is 5 points, and then that whole guy becomes useless, so i have to drop him, rethink whole team strategy, etc etc, blah blah...so, is 1pt over ok? pretty please?

Actually I rolled up a 1st ed character mate

Is that OK?
No worries, probably better actually as the scenario is first edition and so are the pre generated PCs. :D

I've just been swatting up on the scenario. It should be a nice subtle blend of lateral thinking and mindless violence.

It's the start of a mini campaign we will be playing so we have the option to play the first part only this time or continue another time if we can.

I'll be arriving at Yokk stn at 9:37, all things going according to plan.

blegh. *rubs face with palm* just finished the last 2 episodes of aGoT. Only one more to go and then thatll be it. I never cease to be amazed with the casting in that show. I mean, I even thought Kal Drogo was ace, and he could so easily just have been cast as a big lunk that doesnt speak a word of english. (btw, the actor wot plays the good Kal has just finished making a remake of Conan the Barbarian, starring as our culturally challenged hero himself. The things you can learn offa imdb...)

Anyway, what with Dr. Who being in a "mid season break" (whatever the heck that means), I'm shortly going to be all out of TV to watch :(

ah well, could always paint, I spose...

Well, a big thanks to all for a very fun day of gaming in fort spevna.

First up, a 6 way game of killzone with myself, spev, Ash, Asch, Konrad and Jus all trying to assassinate each other's leaders. this game finished quickly due to teh dark eldar reaver's rather unpleasant ability to swoosh 36" in a turn and wallop pretty much anybody they wanted to with impunity.
Next, a 5 way game of same, as Asch-san had to head home for fatherly duties. This time my eldar (vanilla flavour) did not fare so well, despite the 5 of them killing 17 orks between em, the last 2 nobz did for my scorpion exarch and it was all downhill from there.
Finally, in the afternoon me, Spev, jus and ash started a rather fun WHFB game, where we encountered ghostly maidens, oddly talkative ratmen, cheaty-faced dwarves, boozy monks and over-friendly widows, all ably acted by our GM, Ash.

So, big thanks to all for coming to yokkaichi. I look forward to next time :D

Yeah it was really fun and chilled out. Thanks to all that attended and to Asch who agreed to be interviewed for Yog Radio.
Kill zone is awesome and a lot quicker than basic 40k. I really enjoyed running the Fantasy Roleplay. Thanks for not killing Grumbli the dwarf after you found him to be cheating at dice. This will benefit your party in the future. Don't worry Jus there will be a lot of action in store, now is the calm before the storm. Pretty soon you will wish you were back on the Parsnip wine and Herbal tea at La Maisontaal. In the meantime enjoy the hospitality of Widow Le Roux and see if you can steer clear of the Black Shag no.4 tobacco.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

A thanks to Spev, our gracious host. I had a great time. Killzone is a very light, quick, good-for-a-laugh 40K game. Very old school, just how we used to play 40K back in the day with Rogue Trader. I'm especially happy as I even won a game! Go Stuntie! Definately want to give it a go again.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Thank you guys for the Killzone game, and especially Spev for hosting! It's my first time at Fort Spevna, very comfortable place for casual Suday gaming.
I also find Killzone to be very good for casual gaming. I've also learnt a lesson. Beware Dark Elder jetbikes!

P.S. I've spent the rest of the Father's Day with my son and felt happy to see him start laughing.
