Aiming to be at Yokkaichi station around 9.06, hope to walk to the venue with the aid of a map.
I will bring as much as I can comfortably carry, BP models, 1-2 mats, roads, a couple of buildings and terrain.

I'm aiming for 9:06 also. (because I tend to slow on my day off) I'll bring a mat, some fields, road, hills and few trees. See you guys there.

Looks like you guys will be there early! I am on the train at Tomida. I should be at the venue by 9:30. The JR trains are running 5 mins late (wow, big surprise...)

Thanks to Dungeon Lord for organising the event today and for letting us hog a few tables for Black Powder.

Thanks to Job and Lovejoy for the game. A minor victory for the British despite the slightly greater numerical advantage of the French. It was a lot of fun. :D

Gorkamoka today was a blast. Managed to pull off win in the second game... If you have not played this game yet you really should.

I had fun with Prim and Lovejoy. We had lots of new lessons with BP rules, but all things considered it finished around 3pm with about 4.5 hours of play. The French bungled rolls (two blunders), got crosses I've themselves lining their guns and sending calvary across their front. The British player came in in orderly fashion and proceeded to drive back his foes. Bragging rights to Prim winning (if only slightly based on thoroughly banging up the French). Well done gents.

Thanks to Satoru for teaching me an DL Wings of War. Lots of fun!

And thanks to DL for putting on the event and playing wings of war with me. I look forward to the next event.

Next time I'll try to get into Gorka-Morka. BTW, what are the rules for Chaos cultists?

And thank you from me to Prim and Job for Black Powder. I teamed up with Job on the French side, my miserably small collection (3 infantry unit, 1 cav unit, an artillery piece) bolstered Jobs massive horde of Frogs, but both got schooled by the Prim's slightly smaller force of Brits. As BP battles often are, this one looked fantastic, dramatic and a real spectacle. Perhaps the biggest table top engagement I have played to be honest.
The French lost. I would like to blame unlucky dice (hmm, small factor maybe) but mostly it came down to the fact that it's better to have a plan rather than run around like headless poulets (French Chickens, do you see?). The finely drilled Brits had no problems obeying orders, and came on like a red wall of nicely interlocking units. Some small successes for us, but mostly, nah.
Still, learned a lot and enjoyed it!
