Hi guys. Any tips on where Zengo is and how to get there? :)

Go to Nagoya, switch to the Meitetsu line heading for Toyohashi/Okazaki. Take an semi/express train. Zengo is about 15 minutes out I think. When you get to Zengo, go out of the gates (only 1 set), turn left and the building is directly in front of you. There is a Mitsubishi-UFJ inside. Go through the door on the left and take the elevator to the 4th floor. Walk seven steps forward and use the torch to defeat the giant spider. Drink the healing potion and turn left. We should be in one of the rooms nearby. The others contain pit traps and goblins, so choose wisely.

Thank you Prim. I'm on my way. Eta 10:30, hopefully earlier if the Meitestsu lines match up.
Go ahead and choose deployment and mission if you wish. Sorry to be a little late.

Thanks everyone for another fun day of wargaming.

In particular thanks to Dave for introducing me to Epic. The blast markers and alternating activation make it similar to Bolt Action. It was fun to play a couple small games today, but I think it would really shine at higher points levels with huge armies. The kind of massive battle we always want to do in 40k but can't because it's totally impractical.

I also had a great time in the second game. It's a little disappointing that the Imperial forces weren't able to hunt down the Xenos leaders, but there will be other opportunities. Perhaps they will just declare Exterminatus on the planet.
I'm not sure I'll run that exact combination of Farsight and bodyguards in that size game again. Having 70% of your forces launching a Mont'ka strike from reserve makes for a dramatic story but not necessarily a fun game. In particular it's not really fair if your enemy is trying to go after Farsight himself. Seems like you would inevitably get sucker punched.

@ Asch: Thanks for showing me the ins and outs of the new 7th Edition. It was a great introduction. I hope you had a great Birthday with your son.

@ Auxryn, Ashmie and Dekana: Good game. I guess the Angels and the Ultramarines are going to have appoint new captains before they go at the Orks and Tau again.

I had a great day. Thanks to everyone for being such good sports with me after only 4 games of 40k 6th edition. Time to finish reading the fluff of 6th and order the new rule book and marine codex.
Can't wait for next time.

@Auxryn
Big thanks for lending me your Orks for my first 7th Ed. battle. I still can't believe I could leave my whole army behind. I'm glad to know you enjoyed the day, too.

@job
Thank YOU for our first 40K game, which turned out to be first battle with 7th Ed! Thanks especially for your patience of double-checking the new rules via slow-to-respond eBook edition! As long as we played, basic game mechanisms are similar to 6th Ed. , if we don't care Psychic and Maelstrom missions. But there are many little tweaks on rules, to which we will take time to get accustomed, though.

@Ashmie and ToD - Thanks for the games guys. Malifaux was a close run thing, 40K... not so much. Rematches are available whenever you'd like guys.

@All - It was good to see everyone, I hope you all enjoyed your games. Hopefully everyone will get caught up on the rules for 7th quickly and we can get some games in next time.

@Underdweller: Thanks for the game. It was nice to face a crew I haven't seen before. I look forward to seeing McMourning and his zombie Chihuahua again some time.

@Komura: Thank you too. You were very unlucky in our game, especially with your reserve rolls better luck next time.
