What time do the doors close?

Is anyone playing anything besides Warhammer?

About 5:30/6ish depending on when people get sick of rolling dice.
And no, it doesnt look like anything will be played except Warhammer by the NagoyaHammer players who are going. The Japanese guys often play Monsterpocalypse (a board game where Godzilla, Mothra and King Kong duke it out over a city) and Warmachine if either of those grab your attention.

I can give you a great deal on a 40k Army man if you are interested in it... let me know... you can almost always get a game of 40k even if it is in Yokkaichi..

Do NOT start Grim on 40k. ever.

Look what happened when I started him on Bloodbowl. y'all remember that particular series of ass-kickings, doncha? You want that to happen every time you play 40K? do ya? well then, dont get him started on it.

Thanks for an awesome scrap this morning Greenskins vs Elf nancy boys. Here's to the 4000 point battle.

Quitting Warhammer? Not bloomin likely.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Yeah it was epic, thanks to ash and tod for the game. 4000 points, against the orcs and goblin's new and improved army book must happen, and when it does, it will be ...a battle for the ages!

Also thanks to Mike for the beastmen game, who put up a good fight. It was full frontal battle where both battle lines came together for a great bloody melee. So about 2 -3 turns of the game was both sides getting stuck in, getting buffed and subsequently debuffed by magic. Luckily the high elves held out long enough to win combat resolution. But Mike's end game observations were pretty accurate, many high strength attacks that strike first with rerolls against unamoured opponents doesn't jive for him.

Overall I was quite pleasantly surprised by the high elves this time. My first few decent wins after the terrible misfortunes I've had in earlier games.

Thank you for a great afternoon!

To my opponent, ToD and his smurfs...I mean goblins ;) , thank you for a down to the wire game.

Our draw was hard fought by both sides.

Your deployment with so many units spoiled my plan to infiltrate with my way watchers and so they took out your rock lobas too late in the game  The damage had been done. The wild riders fled after having a large rock and no doubt a few goblins hanger-oners land in the middle of them. Surprisingly the wild rider directly beneath said rock and goblin missle somwhow survived, though he and the others were so terrified of rocks falling from the sky they fled off the board!

Fanatics! Ouch! Silly me for not having any eagles to draw them out...oh..I don't have any eagles yet

That one unit of goblins that fought like sword masters, never missing a strike! What have they been eating. They have obviously found a new breed of mushrooms!

However, good to the treeman and the Dryads did the business...even though they too suffered heavy losses.

In the end it was a draw, so one point to both bthe ancients and the goblins!

Look forward to the next time our paths will cross :D

Yep, the terrain was definitely on my side, especially with that nice high platform for my Pathfinders to sit on! Also my new Fire Warriors strategy of not using Fire Warriors seems to be working. I'm still scared of Orks, though...
