Rainy season June event. Kill Zone 40k and WHFRP Yokkaichi

Post by ashmie » Thu May 19, 2011 7:42 am

OK 19th of June sounds like a plan at Fort Spevna. Yokkaichi.

Who is up for some Kill Zone in the morning 40k skirmish game and some warhammer fantasy roleplay in the afternoon.
I'll try and make the scenario no longer than 3 to 4 hours so players can get a good experience at fighting, adventuring and talking nonsense. (character sheets available). We can roll up characters for people beforehand via skype or e mail if anyone would want to do that.

Shall we say 10am for Kill Zone and 2pm for Warhammer fantasy roleplay?

Well I am helping Dave move on the 25th but other than that, I reckon any weekend would work.

I might suggest that instead of RT, we do that new KillZone thingy as we could get a few players in at once without it bogging down.

What say you?

That new Killzone thingy looks like a pile of fun. I would try and make it down to Yokkaichi for that. I'd make it down for RT too! But I'm with Mus, as much wonderful nostalgia as an old-school RT game would be, it would be a headache to sort through all the old rules. Killzone would be easier to do and get's my vote.

Well the Kuwana game day has been scheduled for the 12th, so how does the 19th sound? I could do the 18th but it would have to be from about 1.30 though as I teach in the mornings.

4th/5th are options also.

Either is good for me.

How do 200pt KillZone teams sound?

I reckon that won't be too big and we should get a couple, if not a few, games in b4 we get into the WHFRP.

Ok 200 points a side for kill zone and then I'll bring some PCs for WHFRP in the afternoon. People are welcome to bring their own characters if they have them all roll one up before the day.

Which edition are we playing? Let me know and I might try to roll one up.

Also, I have a stash of fantasy minis at the school for you to use as props. I have;

Goblins
Orcs
Human mercs
Zealots
Halflings
Trolls
Dwarves

Im sure I have a few others lurking around too.
