Yeah, it could be anytime after the first game I play against Jus (and you against Mike), but I just want to reserve some sensible time that I can promise. See you then. :)

Thanks to Ennui for some good Strange Aeons games. My Lurkers managed to afflict Aurelius the street lord with some permanent phobia, but in the second game the Agents blasted away my whole cult with some well laid gunfire.

And thanks to Job for providing me with the battlemat.

Wow, this must have been one of the most successful Joshin days. I think everyone at least got two games of something or other in. 4 fantasy games were played, 5 or so games of Cutlass, Strange Aeons and Dystopia wars. Sounds like it was a good time all around.

@ Jus. Good game. More rules learned and lessons learned about attacking fortified positions. Maybe it is best not to.
@ ToD Good game. It was a mean, lean grudge war. I guess this chapter will go to the Dwarves. :)
@ Seb No problem. Rather, thank your for the likely made movement tray.

Well my dwarves had fun attacking the lady pirates in the morning and then running away with their gold in the afternoon! Unfortunately the navy didn't approve of such behaviour and cut the victory celebration short by knocking them senseless. At least we still have the gold, that's all that matters to dwarves.

Anyway, thanks for the games, everyone, it was a good day!

@Undedweller: Thanks for the game(s) of Cutlass. Who knew Dwarves could run so fast? Ah well, I learnt a lot even if I missed out on the treasure.

@TOD: Thanks for the game. I think it was actually much closer than the final result suggested. If you hadn't been facing off against the Super (Tough/Strong) beasts things could well have gone a lot differently. I look forward to a rematch sometime.

Thanks to everyone for the games and chatting today.
I took a right good kicking from Kondo-san's orcs in the morning as my Navy captain and one of my crew were having a wee rest after the kicking they took from Pikey's girls last month.

Then Ennui proceeded to sink everything but my Battleship in Dystopian Wars.

Finally, my Navy crew were called in by the local landlord to deal with some rowdy drunks. It would appear that Underdweller's Dwarves all have glass jaws. They'll be nursing more than just hangovers tomorrow.

A very nautically themed day for me and lots of fun. :D

Very fun day! There's a lot to get used to with WFB, especially when taking a kinda weak army on purpose. :D I do have some ideas, though! 2 full ranks of Trolls are a must before I try and use them again, I think, and I want to take a trip up to Tokyu Hands and see if they have anything I can kitbash squig hoppers out of (for the answer to the "what's speedy in an all-night-goblin force" question).
