I would dispute that. Apocalypse games have rules that aim to make large scale 40k move a little faster and with a little more dynamism. There's nothing that says you can't enjoy Apocalypse without super-heavies. Anyway, it can be tiring to always have to play an arms-race with your opponents.

@ Badruck: I wish I had a 40k army when you mention events like this. I would be up there in a heartbeat if I still had my old Black Legion collection.

Of course I do, I just don't see how it's better. I was always under the impression that apoc existed solely to allow the use of super heavies in games. Still, if questions bug you ( and they certainly seem to, of late) ill keep em to myself in future.

If you meant me that would be awesome. We could just have a blast things go down in flames! If course it would depend on the day you were planning this.

As it happens I do have a super heavy - 2 of em, in fact. But, as I have a baby due very soon, I've sworn off gaming for the foreseeable. My post back there was just me asking a question, and as I said, I've learned my lesson so far as that's concerned. Ta for the sympathy, tho

Probably a weekend in Feb is best for me. Miyu should be in a good enough condition for me to leave the house without worrying about her.
