As I mentioned here in the last year, Beginner's Club, a Japanese WHFB gaming club hanging around Town Crier, has its offer to have the first joint event with NagoyaHammer.

Morodomi-san (aka Hige-Majin) has just proposed his plan for the first event.
I think it's a bit short nortice, but he seem to have decided to start it small with those who could join.
Please let me hear who are interested in and what kinds of information (e.g. which parts of regulations) you want to know ASAP.

大名古屋大ウォーハンマータッグ大会 (Dai-Nagoya Warhammer Fantasy Battle Tag Tournament)
The date is a 24th March, Sunday .
The venue is Nambu Community Center at Zengo Station (Meitetsu), Toyoake City.

Proposed Rules: 2000 points doubles (1000 points per player)

• Each player prepare his/her roster under the normal army building rules for 1000 points armies.
  The teams are decided by lottery at the beggining of the event.
  Morodomi-san like to arrange the lottery so that a veteran will team up with a begginer.
  Other details (such as scenarios, allies levels, and like) are not discussed for now.

Update:Morodomi-san has successfully reserved the venue. Now date and venue are fixed.

I have the Tsu games event that weekend. Sorry. I think we booked these at the same time. Whoops.

I'd really like to join that but at this stage I'll be on a work trip on that date.

That sounds remarkably similar to an idea I discussed with Ikeda san last week.
A mixed doubles joint event with random team mates decided on the day.

I'll have to check my schedule, but since I did pitch the idea to Ikeda san (and from him on to Morodomi san), I guess I should try and make it.

I'm in, barring some major family event. Sounds really cool!

I don't play Fantasy, but I wish you all the best of luck with this. We need more events like this in our wee gaming world
