Summer Epicstravaganza?

Post by The Other Dave » Wed Feb 27, 2013 7:37 am

Since there was so much interest in the event in December, and it went off so well (save an easily-avoided-in-future screw-up with the room), I thought I might see if the community could support two Epic events a year.

Would anyone be interested in an event sometime in July, plus or minus a month or so? I was thinking on a Sunday this time, to give folks who couldn't come to the winter event's Saturday day a chance to come.

If you're interested, post here with some time frames over the summer when you definitely wouldn't be able to take part, and we can hash something out.

Edit: So as we hash things out, I'll update the OP with people who've expressed interest, so folks know how many slots we have left. (Seriously, I have a lot of armies, guys. I can accommodate a fairly large number of interested players.)

Potential Non-ToD Slots: 7

Currently Expressing Interest: 3

I would love to join, but for one week in July that I will be at wedding in the USA.

I'm glad to hear you are considering another event.

If you know which week it is, let me know! Unless everybody else interested can only come that week (unlikely!), we ought to be able to work something out.

I could be a starter this time round, if there's room.

Right then, let's do this. I feel the need for a "pour out a 40 on the curb for Specialist Games" event, heh.

My calendar is actually pretty busy all through July - how would, say, August 11th-ish work for anyone interested in some Epic gaming?

I don't think I will be busy then. But I dunno yet. :D Definitely interested though.

If I am in Japan, I will most certainly be there to pour my 40.
