So Konrad and I found out the other day at Joshin that, just as I remembered, a game of Advanced Space Crusade big enough to be tactically interesting is also going to need more time than is really convenient to spare at Joshin, what with all that goes on there.

It also occurred to me that there was a bunch of buzz about Space Hulk around these parts when the new set was released, but I haven't heard a lot of talk about actual playing of the game going on.

So I thought about maybe organizing a day some Saturday in late February (maybe? that's what works with my schedule and also gives time to get a room at the local venue) for these sorts of games. I personally only own Advanced Space Crusade, but if folks owning it are looking for an excuse to play some Space Hulk, or Battle for Alabaster, or what have you, it might be a good time!

They are coming out of the walls man! Or in the case of Advanced Space Crusade, "They are erupting out of the sphincter!" For some reason that game is grosser than Battle for Alabaster, where nanite swarms blend people into cyborg zombies. I'd try and make it. It would take a solid day to muck through that gooey mess that is ASC.
Oh, and I have a nearly complete (just short half a dozen nids) 1st editon Space Hulk.

Well, the response has been sort of lackluster, with the two people who actually own Space Hulk looking most likely to be unable to come. I may put it on the back burner until I can drum up some interest talking to people in person.
