Oct 15th at E-able Nagoya (Higashi Betsuin)

Post by Primarch » Sun Sep 24, 2017 9:58 pm

The info ToD provided from the September game was that October's game will be in the same building, on the 15th.
Date/Time: Oct 15 am 9:00 - pm 4:30
Venue: E-able Nagoya (former Women's Center) Room is Assembly Room #4 (Dai 4 Shukaishitsu)
The same building, same room as Aug, just three quarter the size.

Rules: Bring your favorite models and games; prior arrangements for your gaming encouraged; you bring home all garbage; you can eat or drink in the venue, except alcohol ;-)

There are few eateries around the venue open in Sunday noon except a Kissaten in the house.
I will be there for the day with Saga. I should be able to provide enough terrain to cover a full table, and I think we should be able to get two games going at the same time on one table. (Saga uses a 3'x4' table as standard). The game plays fairly quickly, so I can't see why we won't get 2 games in during the day.
I will be bringing along my Anglo-Dane/Saxon and Viking warbands, so I should be able to loan one out if need be.
Any takers?

I'm up for a teach-me-how-to-play game with my vikings, definitely.

I'd also like to get a game of 40K in if possible, if anyone's up for that.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Well, I can help with the first request. :D
Depending on numbers I can either play against you or coach you through a game with someone else.

You're never going to conquer all of the Anglo-saxon kingdoms at this rate.
I think I have a spare Norseman or two kicking around.

I'll be there, Vikings in tow. 4-6 points.
I can 'help' anyone else starting out, as well as crushing all before me.

Just a little correction: Room is Assembly Room #4 (Dai 4 Shukaishitsu) on the third floor.
September gathering saw the smaller seminar room packed with a bunch of new and old players; In October, we fortunately have a bigger room.

By the way, I will join and would like to appoint a small (50-60 PL) game of 40K or two, hopefully with English-speakers, if you do not mind playing against daddy-and-kindergartner duo.

Asch, I haven't had a chance to play against you and your son yet. I am able to come in the morning only. Would you like a game against Tau or Tyranids then?

I would like to join in the Saga but have not yet finished my Vikings. Sorry guys. Kojibear's Vikings are not yet ready to descend upon the Saxons. :( I certainly don't mind pairing up or just observing to get more familiar with the rules.

I actually got a lot done in the last 2 nights. Base coated and washed 7 armoured warriors, 8 warriors (without armour) and started on my 12 javelineers/sling troops and my warlord.
Why only 7 warriors you ask? One seems to have done a runner on me... !
