I'll be coming down this month. I'd really like to try out 8th Ed 40k as I haven't had a chance to play yet. Is anybody willing to play a bit more patient, smallish game of 40k. I guess in the 50-70 points region? I'd like to play a game in the morning and one in the afternoon. (Team games are cool, too.)

I'm good with anything. I suppose I'll be learning about the new meta pretty soon, but I really can't be bothered. I'll throw together what ever I like. Personally I have Night Lords, Dark Angels, and Skitarii. Do you have any preference?

Yeah, I know the feeling - I don't play enough to feel that I worry about what is supposed to be good or not, especially as our gaming group isn't especially competitive.

Skitarii seem cool, but bring whatever you feel like.

@ Underdweller and ToD: I have gone through my collection and I am well short of 60 points in Skitarii. I be bringing 29 points of Skitarii plus an additional detachment of Angels of Lion Blade (Dark Angels - 28 points). Everything will be battle forged. Is that OK?
