Higacchi Games will be hosting a 40k event on May 26th from 14:00 ~ 22:00.
The event is on the second floor of the store, which is near Tennoji, Osaka. (map)
The room costs 1200 yen to use for the whole day.
Trial miniatures are available for free for beginners who want to try out 40k.
Space is limited, so I'll go ahead and make reservations for anyone who wants to come.
For those coming from Aichi, the most convenient route is probably to take the Kintetsu Limited service to Tsuruhashi and then ride the subway to either Tanabe or Kita-tanabe station. The store is a 5 minute walk from there.
Hopefully no one minds me spamming Osaka games in this forum once a month. Let me know if it's a problem.
Higacchi is a pretty small store, so if there's any real interest in this event, I'll look into bigger venues for the future.

Six players showed up, so we were able to have 3 simultaneous games on slightly smaller-than-usual tables.
My guardswomen made a good showing of themselves, defeating a Death Guard army with lots of bloat drones.
See the battle report on imgur!

Please keep posting here. There may be an occasion where some of us can go. (I had a crazy idea to go, but probably in a month without Nagoyahammer.)

I'm always jealous seeing the battle reports on Twitter - and your Guard are looking nice too! We may have a nice hobby community here, but a shop in town that actually has game nights would be lovely.
I, too, have a vague idea of heading out there some time. It's not really that far from here to Osaka after all.

Feel free to call me Dave!

@job, dave
Thanks for the encouragement! I'll keep posting monthly (or so) in the hope that someone from the Naghammer group can eventually make the trip.
If nothing else, it gives me an excuse to post battle reports, which is always fun.
