40k for a Day: December/ January

Hey guys and gals,
I posted early this year that I wanted to open up a room for the day. While the poll suggested people wanted to play Necromunda or Black Powder, I haven't heard much buzz about either game. Instead I'd like to move forward with 40k.
The Basic plan
1) Skirmish level, escalating from 500 -750 - to - 1000 points during the day.
2) Forces are limited to the Patrol Detacment and the auxiliary detachment. A Patrol Detachment will gain a player + 3 Command Points in addition to the +3 for being battleforged.
3) Narrative campaign feature: Your HQ can gain new characteristics or abilities as they complete various achievements. (Something simple just like the Nagoya Hammer 3 years ago.)
4) Before the game day, all players will be divided into general teams (Imperial vs Conspirators; Eldar/Allies vs Eldary haters; etc.). Teams will play for "control" of tables for Game Day team victory.
If you are interested, please pipe up and tell what time around December and January is best for you. I'll try to find a date that works for as many people as possible.
What do you think? Do you like the format? Want to suggest something? Would you be able to join in either December or January?
