Nagoya October Games Day: 10/18 at e-able Nagoya
Re: Nagoya October Games Day: 10/18 at e-able Nagoya
I'll be bringing my Titanicus stuff as well as the game that I've been working on and probably just run demos for most of the day.
(This is me setting a deadline for myself.)

I'd like to try Blitz Bowl if you have time in the morning? I probably can't stay for the afternoon. The Other Dave wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 1:13 amHi all,
October's games day will be on Sunday the 18th at e-able in Higashi-betsuin this month! As usual, 500 yen to take part.
I *should* (knock on wood) be able to make it this month, and I'll have Crusade along and probably Blitz Bowl as well, if anyone wants to try a quick-playing Blood Bowl-adjacent game out.

Sure - I don't have anything solid lined up, so my schedule is open at this point. The Underdweller wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 4:35 amI'd like to try Blitz Bowl if you have time in the morning? I probably can't stay for the afternoon. The Other Dave wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 1:13 amHi all,

Great, I'll give the rules a read beforehand. I guess you will provide a team? The Other Dave wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 5:25 amSure - I don't have anything solid lined up, so my schedule is open at this point. The Underdweller wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 4:35 amI'd like to try Blitz Bowl if you have time in the morning? I'll be there with my 40k stuff.
I'm up for a crusade but I could also probably make a list up to 2000pts as well if that's what someone would prefer.

This sounds like fun, even if my guard would get demolished at that level.Grantholomeu wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 1:11 pmI'm hoping someone can show me the ropes to (dark) Crusade.
Also open to playing some Malifaux.
Could we get a decent enough crowd to play a for-fun multiplayer free-for-all bonanza? Something like 250-500pts per player. Play king of the hill, or lay down 6 objectives and find which one is the true objective and sit on it.

Besides regular 40k stuff and crusade the free for all sounds very fun! Count me in.

We have 4 people ready for a free-for-all, and more are welcome if anyone else wants in.
Thoughts on power point level? I'm thinking 20 if we stay at 4 people, maybe 15 if we get more.
And there will be no detachment restrictions so long as no one does anything exceptionally dumb.
Part of me wants to up those point levels by 5, but thinking about space, I think it'll already be pretty crowded.

You still use a double Kill Team board for 100 PL total games (50 PL a side), so I think a brawl with people's normal Combat Patrols would work fine!Grantholomeu wrote: ↑Tue Oct 06, 2020 2:43 pmWe have 4 people ready for a free-for-all, and more are welcome if anyone else wants in.
