Sounds good. I'll try and get more stuff painted by then.

Well for what it's worth I caved and ordered the General's Handbook so I can help folks with their points after I pick it up next week.
Planning to bring the Wolves either way though, happy with whatever balance of 40k and AoS ends up happening.

I may not be around for this one, as my cats second round of vaccines are due that morning.
Time permitting though I could make it for the second half for a smaller game of 40K

This week's preorders are the Book of Fire, the next Charadon Campaign book, and Amidst the Ashes, the next Crusade mission pack.
We're still working our way through the Book of Rust so the Book of Fire can stay on the shelf a while, but I'll definitely bring Amidst the Ashes along with the other two mission packs. That gives us 21-24 missions to choose from at each battle size for Crusade!

I would like to try out my Orks if you want to play a game between the two winless armies.

The Warscroll Builder on Warhammer Community has been updated for AOS 3 so list building should now be doable without needing the GH.

It's really amazing that something maintained by one fan in his free time (not even a GW employee!) is arguably one of the best, cleanest army-building apps for AoS out there. Which is why I feel bad mentioning that it doesn't implement building using core battalions very nicely, but it's the one weakness of the current version I think.Jye Nicolson wrote: ↑Mon Jul 05, 2021 1:45 pmThe Warscroll Builder on Warhammer Community has been updated for AOS 3 so list building should now be doable without needing the GH.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Orks Codex will be out (in the collector's box) the day before - will we be seeing them on the table in all their new glory?
At this stage I'm planning on bringing a very silly 75PL list of largely unplayed Space Wolves and ~1500pts of suspiciously familiar looking Maggotkin of Nurgle, with broken down lists to play at the smaller sizes for each game. So in practice should be up for whatever on the day.

I'm undecided on whether I'm even buying the box set and even if I do there's no way I'll get it by then so unless the leaks get really bad, I'll most likely be fielding pre-codex Orks.
