Sooooooooo I just realized that I can't count. I don't have 1500 points painted. If you don't mind some primed models at the table I can bring 1500 otherwise I have about 1000 points painted.OZMS2Tallgeese wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 6:17 pmI'd better get painting then!Tarkin wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 10:41 pmThat would be greatOZMS2Tallgeese wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 5:25 pm

That's fine too. I can field 1000 slightly better painted models then. I should paint my terrain tbh

OK without anyone clamoring to try out their big guns, I'll skip the Knight tomorrow and just bring a bunch of Wolf bodies (probably folks with shields since I painted a lot recently), maybe with Impulsors and/or Dreads. That should break down to smaller games nicely too.
Going to bring Deathwatch and if I can get them over the line Orks for Kill Team, going to likewise leave the Custodes at home because they seem to be a bit much (at least until I can get some Sisters of Silence painted to dilute them).
My understanding is that none of the folks who are being kind enough to take minis off my hands are going to be around tomorrow, if I'm wrong about that please let me know so I can bring you plastic/cash/whatever.

If it's not too late I would love to try out some kill team. I have some Assault Intercessors and Intercessors I could bring as a team if that helps with organizing some games. The Other Dave wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 12:09 amIf anybody wants to give Kill Team a try but doesn't have the rules / doesn't want to bother trying putting a team together, let me know and I'll put a team together and write up a cheat sheet for you!

I would also be interested in trying it out, and can bring a bunch of (Tyranid) models. Since it's short notice, though, I'm also fine just hanging out and watching.Tarkin wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 10:21 amIf it's not too late I would love to try out some kill team. I'll have the Kill Team rules, templates etc too so everyone who wants to play should be able to. I'm hoping to have a big game of 40k in one session and a couple of games of Kill Team in the other but whatever works on the day!

Re: September Games Day: 9/26 at e-able Nagoya
Thanks for the games today folks!
I really should have thought through being defender on Flood Tide, it sure let me pump a lot of water but we didn't get to see the fun of the upper ends of the flood table (could have been a lot of drowning Imperials). Still a close game, much closer than I think Matt and Will thought as we were going through; a bit more luck on the attacker's side and it could have been very different. I think Will's Space Wolves will become very dangerous as he gets more used to their strategems.
And thanks @Underdweller for scaring me with the Tyranids, I know the Orks came out on top this time but from my side of the table the genestealers are tough to deal with. I was lucky the bomb squig managed to deliver its payload!

Well, I am going to respect your bomb squig more next time I see it, that's for sure! Thanks for the game, and for the loan of the tokens, cards, etc. Thanks also to ToD for walking me and Jus through the first game, and especially to Jus for rolling so poorly with the Ultramarines.Jye Nicolson wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 9:49 amAnd thanks @Underdweller for scaring me with the Tyranids, I know the Orks came out on top this time but from my side of the table the genestealers are tough to deal with.
