November Games Day: 11/21 at e-able Nagoya
Re: November Games Day: 11/21 at e-able Nagoya
I won't be able to make it to November's game day but I should be able to make it to December's (since I'll finally be fully vaccinated.)

Looking to be there with my nids!
New supplement probably means I’ll be remaking my crusade list again…

Yeah, I'm planning to redo my Guard now that I have some new crusade stuff to play around with.Tyranii-chan wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 12:44 amLooking to be there with my nids!

The new supplement for both of us means it might be time we had another rematch though!

Buffed tanks and orders vs buffed Hive Guard, I'd like to see that!
Shame about this month but we'll look forward to welcoming you back next time.

I am hopefully going to be knee-deep in Malifaux but I will throw my kill team in the bag in case of cancellations or I get whipped out early.

Well, that was my first regular games day (I hope) and I had a blast. Thanks to Balloonacorn and Grantholomeu for the close games of Malifaux. It seems like 35 stone games may be the way to go in future.
Thanks to Jye and Jus for the models they brought for me.
And thanks to everyone for the awesome atmosphere and friendly chats. It was great to catch up with everyone.

*I get to see how they both go unloading into Space Wolf Dreads*
That being said we had a grand time trying the new multiplayer rules and I think they did make 3 player much fairer and fun (if still not balanced because 3P is always a glorious mess). Thanks Matt and Josh for great games and a newfound respect for your factions
Great to see lots of other folks there today too - how did the Malifaux games go?
Re: November Games Day: 11/21 at e-able Nagoya
In my demo game against Balloonacorn, the game ended with only one model on the board and tied victory points. As Malifaux doesn't have any bonus for tabling your opponent, the game was technically a draw.
In my second game against Grantholomeu's pig farm, my giant stompy robots were just ahead on points when time was called in the middle of turn 4. The pigs would have pulled ahead by the end of the turn, but then again wouldn't have had much left on the table going into turn 5. (Malifaux games have a fixed 5 turn duration)
Either way, I had a ton of fun playing and I hope my opponents did too.

Thanks to everyone for a great game day. Thank you Primarch for the demo. I will take the draw.
Thank you Underweller for a great game. Too close to call but I had a lot of fun.
Malifaux is a wonderful game with multi-levels of strategy. I can wait to play again.
