April Nagoya Games Day - 4/24 in Kamimaezu
Re: April Nagoya Games Day - 4/24 in Kamimaezu
@Jye: Sorry. I’ll be running a bit late. I need to watch the kids a little longer. I should be able to make it but I’ll be delayed by an half an hour.

Thanks for the games everyone! Was great to see everyone and roll some dice.
But not reroll them because Harlequins are jerks.

Thank you to everyone for the conversation
Two Take-a-aways:
1) Malifaux gets better and better
2) It is fun to light your enemies ablaze in Necromunda
Fear the Bomb Rats!!

Thanks! I will know to take the Journalists more seriously next time, they do not mess around..
Grantholomeu, thanks for the game. It was close, but odds were in your favour if we had played to the end of turn five. Hopefully I will remember some of Cadmus' tricks the next time we play!

Thanks for the games guys! Apologies if they were a little bit one sided.
@job: Thanks for bringing your Chaos lads out, it was a really interesting army! I'd be happy to have a really casual game against you sometime if you're keen.

Agreed, I loved seeing those Demon Engines and the Lord Discordant, they looked awesome.
(They just happened to be parked directly in front of my specialised anti vehicle guns )
I think the 2v2 game was just another repeat of our classic pattern - I was about to run out of steam and out of elves, particularly with no vehicles left at all for my haywire cannons to target and a bunch of Thousand Sons ready to laugh them off. But as usual that just left a completely intact Imperial Guard force rumbling into the decisive moment.
We should probably stop doing that

Oh, that was nice. It's been ages since I've been out for a bit of geekery. Really good to see the old crew. Especially Joe! Ohisashiburi! And Nick! Even more ohishashiburi.
Got in a bit of Stargrave and I finally, finally got my fort out on the table. Really need to finish it. Itakura's "Living Brain" psychic 1st mate is a work of genius. But his superior intellect was no match for my primitive machine guns and grenade launchers! Stargrave is awesome. Rules are really easy to learn, smooth learning curve, but enough depth that it takes more than a few games to really master them. Just about any old sci-fi sort of fig works, so easy to get into, too.

...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....
