September Nagoya Games Day: Sunday 9/25

Post by The Other Dave » Mon Aug 29, 2022 10:21 pm

Hi all! The next Nagoya games day will be at e-able in Higashi-Betsuin again:

Day: Sunday, September 25
Time: 9am - 4pm (out of the room by 4:30)
Cost: 500 yen if you play any games

The room will be the dai-2 kenkyushitsu up on the second floor this time.

I'll be out of town on a business trip, so hopefully I'll see all y'all in October!
Feel free to call me Dave!

Well the covid numbers just fell below 100,000/day for the first time in over a month, so assuming things maintain a downward trend, I should be there.

Ideally I'll be looking for games of Horus Heresy (2000 points?) and/or Malifaux (35 stones?). Any takers? Fair warning, if Covid numbers start spiralling out of control again, I will probably have to cancel.

I will be there!

Typhus and the forces of the Terminus Est will be showing up (probably with a small detachment of Nurgle Demons using the new rules) as an NPC Crusade, with a bounty of Crusade bonuses on Typhus' head. Ideally I'd like to run the final campaign mission for Charadon at 100PL - potentially against two 50PL lists cooperating but competing to take down the boss?

The mission story is Typhus grinding across the map to personally infect the Forge World's network with scrap code. Objective control and mowing down swarms of zombies!

40K is the priority but I can also bring a Horus Heresy force if Primarch has no other takers and/or Necromunda as I believe Balloonacorn had plans to play it in September?

@Primarch
@somebody else

I could do two smaller games of Malifaux. Or if anyone interested in a demo game , let me know.

I shall be in attendance.

Looking for a game of Malifaux and , yes Jye, Necromunda if anyone is interested.

Alternatively I would like to play Killteam or try the new Warcry rules.

I can come, but probably only until 12:30 or so.

I would like a game of Malifaux.

So if there are no complaints, I'll play The Underdweller in the morning and Balloonacorn in the afternoon?

Ahh!
@Primarch @The Underdweller

So sorry to make this awkward, but I meant to say I'd play Primarch in the morning and Balloonacorn in the afternoon since they had mentioned playing first. :?

Didn't mean to blow you off Primarch.

Although I now see Balloonacorn might have other games he'd like to play? We'll see how it pans out, but if Balloonacorn is booked otherwise, maybe I could play The Underdweller in the morning and Primarch in the afternoon? Just tossing around ideas.

But for now (triple checks who typed what when again), I'll be looking to play Primarch and Balloonacorn, and for me at least, either time slot works.

Apologies again! :(
