November Games Day: 11/27 at e-able Nagoya

Hi folks! The November games day is back at e-able Nagoya, on Sunday the 27th.

As usual for that venue, we'll have the room from 9am to 4pm, and it'll be 500 yen for the day if you play any games.

I still don't know if I'll be able to make it this month (the next week is our Ichinomiya underworlds group meetup, and I've been working a lot of weekends so I may want to just chill at home), but if I go it'll probably just be Underworlds - which if any English-speakers want a demo of, I'd be happy to give one! But I'll keep the thread posted about my availability.

I'll put up another thread closer to the day, but so you can mark your calendars, December's meetup will be on the 18th, again at e-able.

Combo breaker! 40k.

(Not a surprising one though)

I aim to play Tau. If I can't get them painted, it'll be Custodes.

I'm not 100% sure but it's possible the kiddoes and I might be able to come up this month. I'd love to play Malifaux, but realistically I'll be joining the kids at the 40k table.

Would anyone be willing to play my kids and I in a small game of 40k? I appreciate that y'all have your own things going on, so no worries if you can't. I'm just keen to continue coming up to see you lot, and the only way that works at the mo is if I bring the kids.

Yoroshiku, and hopefully see you there 👍

I could bust out the Poxwalker hordes again and give them a chance to mow them down? Then I could play Tau or Custodes in the other session.

That would be most excellent and awesome, Jye! Poxwalkers sounds good to me. A smallish game is probably best, as Noah (my youngest) gets bored after a while if he's not climbing walls or summat equally physical. Maybe 25PL per player might work, if that's doable? I can bring 25 pts of something, and we have one adult and one kid per side. Or just a 4-way kill-em-all free for all. Whatever works for you. Many thanks for volunteering your time. I really appreciate it 🙏

Ooh, also - would anybody be up for some Magic the Gathering edh/commander? My kids are enjoying their new 40k decks immensely, and I have...lots* of decks to choose from. If anybody fancies a game, we'd all be keen. Anything from 4-6 players is totally doable (so, us plus 1-3 more folks). I can supply decks if ya want em 👍

*Er...17, at last count
