@Balloonacorn: Sorry to hear that, hope you feel better soon.
@Primarch: Well, that makes finding another game easy. Sure, I'll join!

Awesome to see everyone and thanks for the games! I'm absolutely a believer in Devin's Orks and Sean's Necrons took a pounding and just kept coming. The poor old Drukhari need a buff I think, while they can bring the hurt I don't think they have the depth to weather a turn of bad dice. Probably should be thankfully MiJ didn't bring his Craftworlders to give me the thrashing I richly deserved
Either way great to be rolling dice with folks and I look forward to doing so again next month!

It was great to see everybody and have a chat.
Thanks to Jus, Yellowstreak & Underdweller for playtesting Op-En. I got some good feedback and some ideas for the way forwards. Expect to see sone changes and an updated version of the rules sometime in the near future. I'll be bringing it along for the next few months to keep refining the rules further.

Re: October Nagoya Games Day - 10/22 at e-able Nagoya
gosh I'm late with this. Sorry, all.
Many thanks to Jye for giving my dark eldar the thumping they've deserved for several editions now. I've since done a fair bit of reading up on how to win with drukhari in 10th edition, and the overwhelming consensus online on how to do that is to...wait for the codex to come out Ah well, I shall perhaps persevere with some different units next time. After all, we thrive on pain...
Thanks are also due to Surg for showing me the ropes on Shatterpoint. My sincerest apologies for having to bail so early, but I actually really enjoyed the game we played. It all felt very thematic, and the push-and-pull of the struggle was a very effective game mechanism. I'd be happy to play again sometime, hopefully for a proper session
And as always, great to see everyone else there. Hopefully see you again in November

Speaking of, apologies to Surg for not taking you up on Shatterpoint! More of the Ichinomiya Underworlds guys came down than I was expecting, so I sort of felt like I had to host.
Feel free to call me Dave!
