I (believe) I am clear to be gamin' this month.

First choice is Malifaux.

Second choice is Kill Team, Warcry, 40k or a demo of some game I haven't played but would like too.
I should be able to come. I think you wanted to have a rematch against Molly?
Yes, Yes YES!!!!!

Pan incoming!
I'll take that as a yes, then!

40 Soulstones, right?

I should be there!

I'd be looking to have another 2000pt game with my Guard if anyone's interested in cracking open some tanks. I'd like to have another game, but not sure which faction to bring: it's spooky season, so Emperor's Children would make sense - but on the other hand it's also Orktober. Decisions. :?

If you are ok with that. Flip Stats & Scemes at your leisure

Turns out AwesomeCakeMan has life stuff to do so the narrative game if delayed until November.
I will still be bringing loads of Orks for Orktober though, first come first served!

I've never gone up against Orks with my Guard before! I'd be happy to give you a game.

correction though, my intention is an open game, not a narrative game :P

i just found out that open and narrative games are actually different so my apologies for the confusion

specifically a last stand scenario against orks which is worth 2k points against mine which is 1k or much lower to make it more dramatic

so a few updates, i already made the mission rules which it will be done this weekend so i will PM you the details :D

I will be there.
I will be bringing along minis and terrain for a game that I have been working on. If you'd like to give it a try, I will have enough on hand to do a demo game. Alternatively you can create your own force and give that a try too. You can find all of the rules along with a brief overview of the game here:

I've been coordinating with a couple of the Ichinomiya Underworlds guys and (since the place we use was full and we're skipping this month) I think I'll just be bringing Underworlds on the 22nd. If anyone wants a game let me know!
Feel free to call me Dave!

@Prim- I'd be up to lab-rat the new game. I'll give the rules a download and give those a read once I stop bingeing "Only Murders in the Building" this weekend.
@the Mali-folks- I'll bring some spooky terrain I built last year (and have not had a chance to actually use I think). If you want something different to murder each other on.

Howdy.

Is anybody available for some low-points 40k? I think I'd like to come up, as its been a while, but I don't want to risk it if folks are all booked up. Still not sure if/which kids are coming. There's a balancing act of them wanting to come so as not to miss out, but not actually wanting to put in the effort/patience to actually play, and me wanting to encourage them, but not pressure them.

ah, parenthood

ps I actually played a game against Sean (my eldest) last weekend. My Dark Eldar vs his Necrons. He had a much better grasp of how to use Stratagems and army rules etc, and my Incubi had a most epic fight against his Skorpekhs (which ended with my last-man-standing Klaivex getting buzzed on pain tokens and exactly taking out his last-man-standing Skorpekh lord. It woulda been much more epic had Sean not responded by just stratting the bugger back into action, but hey ho,at least the lad's Necron-ing properly  )
current (2019) hobby interests
eh, y'know. Stuff, and things

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...
