November Nagoya Games Day: 11/19 at e-able

Post by The Other Dave » Mon Oct 23, 2023 3:27 am

Hi all,

The November games day will be Sunday, November 19th, at e-able as we've been doing for a bit, back up on the 3rd floor. As usual we'll have the room from 9 to 4:30. As far as I know free games day is still in effect! Presumably Kondo-san and/or Itakura-san will let us know when the money runs out.

I'm 95% sure I have work that weekend, but if my schedule changes I'll pop my head in the thread. See y'all in December!
Feel free to call me Dave!

I will be there with 40K in tow, since it's Marines season I have a lot of new toys to work through getting on the table (not even considering the Tyranids slowly building up on the painting table).

My plan is to play a gimmick list - "The Lion and the Wolf" - using Lion el'Jonson with lots of Space Wolf models subbing in for Dark Angels specialty units. Not sure what detachment I'll use but expect some terminators.

I should be there. I'll be aiming to keep playtesting my new game system and refining it some more. Anyone who wants to give it a try is more than welcome.

I am hoping to be there. Malifaux if possible.

Underdweller, are you available for that rematch?

I think I can come, yes. I guess we can use the same flip? I made a mistake with one of the schemes (#10 is Public Demonstration, not Load 'Em Up).

Here they are again, with the correction:

Deployment: Wedge (masks)
Strategy: Carve a path (rams)
Schemes: Hidden Martyrs (6), Catch and Release (7), Public Demonstration(10), Set the Trap (11), Secret Meet-up (13)

I should be there. And will probably (probably) actually have finished reading the rules by then.... :D Should I bring some toys or terrain?

Great. I will have some terrain and models you can use, but if you want to bring your own guys that will be good too. I do need to update & upload the rules for force building though, so you should probably hold off any list-building until I get it done.

If there's room for me to drop in and playtest Primarch's game I'd give that a shot
