What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
@Spev- Most impressive start. Be careful about those closed in areas on the tower. I am reminded of my "shoebox" terrain pieces (the two bunker/building things I use as a carry box for the towers) and it is a pain moving figs around inside of them. It might not be as realistic, but just putting it up pillars might be more game friendly.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Cheers mate. Im going to model locked doors/bulkheads onto the tower walls but they will be purely cosmetic and have no in game function. While the rooms are stacked to make a tower players wont be able to access the inside. The walkways that go around the rooms outside will have drums of dangerous chemicals and stacks of old tech to duck behind. There will also be ladders leading up and holes cut into the walkways to emerge through.
I am going to model interiors so that I can also use the tower to represent individual rooms on a one level board.

Spent the last few days clearing out my attic at home in the UK. Ahh the 90s

Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

If you've got a copy, Rogue Trader, pages 224-7. Space cowboys, leather-clad jetbikers, ork slaver gangs and Space Marines arresting punks for seditious graffiti-ing.Spevna wrote:This is what I worked on yesterday, but didnt get the time to add the pics.
It is the beginnings of a skirmish board for Necromunda/Inquisimunda. I want to start some more skirmishy stuff so thought a cityscape with some height would be cool. I have also started cobbling together some RT era / Old skool looking mini gangs. So far I've got;
Orks
Squats
2 generic human gangs
Eldar
Space Marines (beakies) for when the local PDF cant get the job done.
As for a dark, dark grey, Vallejo Model Colour 70862 Black Grey. Give it a wash or two of black, and it's dark enough.

Re: What did you do today.
Still putting the Bolt action figures together (too many parts!) Started working on my KV-1 (22 pound for a resin tank with less detail is a no, no in my book).
Finished ME3 last mission is not fun, and the ending really? The whole idea of the reapers is a load of BS (cheap babylon 5 ripp off)

The walking vehicles in one of those pictures look like the legs from Battletech 'mechs - sorry, Destroids from Macross, if you insistSpevna wrote:That is EXACTLY what I was looking at mate.If you've got a copy, Rogue Trader, pages 224-7.
