yeah. These would be good as swooping hawks, if there werent swooping hawks already for a fraction of the price.

I'm another one who looked at scourges and thought "yes please!" when I saw them in the codex, and that was before I looked at their rules. Evil gangster bird-men - huzzah!

and yes, they actually get surgically altered. The wings should have feathers, and their faces should actually have beaks on em. Beaked helms, at the least.

And talons. Lots of talons...

Indeed. You can see that effort has been put into it. Just doesn't look like what it is supposed to.
