Cheers lads

@Prim - I have, as yet untouched and sitting on my table, 2 troll stone thrower ships, 2 pillager ramming ships, and a flagship!

Beautiful boats Spevna, great work. I want to play. Perhaps we could play that and Dreadfleet someday in Yokkaichi. I'm sure Uncharted seas it's a better game though if you are dealing with fleets rather than a few ships.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Mate, if you can get to Yokkaichi one Saturday, and if Prim is free and doesn't mind, you could borrow one of his fleets (I've only the one) and we could have an evening of three way naval shenanigans and gentle men's tomfoolery. Pip pip old chap.

I would be up for that.

Today, I built five Necron Lychguard and six of my 95th Rifles for my Napoleonic British.

I've never been much interested in Necrons, but after reading last month's White Dwarf, I have to say they look pretty awesome. Can't wait to see your army.

Today was productive. I got all my dryads and tree kin primed, base coated, and shaded.

today I finished Deus Ex: Human Evolution. A real "phwooah" of a game. Great setting, fine voice acting, nice script (by, amongst others, lucien soulban (realname) and James Swallow - 2 black library writers). Generally a very atmospheric and moody game. If you have a PS3, I strongly, strongly recommend it. If you have PC, I recommend the original Deus Ex, too, btw. One of the all time great games, I reckon. I know some folks don't think so highly of video games, but I'm pretty convinced it's where all the original stories and ideas have gone, now that movies are just recycled again and again for commercial reasons.

Top stuff :)

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

Today I got drunk on work time (and on work money!), saw the new Sherlock Holmes movie and when I got back the final pieces of my collection of old-school Dave Andrews Khorne and Nurgle Marines had arrived:

Today I went down to Pikey's secret lair and played 2 games of 40 :D :D k. My IG (no veterans) vs his Dark Eldar.
We used the battle missions book for both games. The first mission was a guard mission that required him to deploy everything. 2 turns of (above average) guard shooting later and we called the game early.
In the second game we played a Dark Eldar mission. The Eldar set up within 15" of the IG lines. I reserved a lot but Pikeys Pixies overran my defenders by turn 2. I honestly thought I was done for as by his turn 5 it was 10 killpoints to 6. On my turn 6 I managed to bring down his HQ with heavy bolter fire. For this mission, HQs were worth d6KP. Guess what I rolled. :D
Throughout both games my hellhounds were awesome wounding on 2s and denying saves and FNP on his units. Definitely worth their points.
