I finally finished up some Space Wolf cavalry I've been working on. At last I can clear my work space and fire up the air brush to prime a new batch of miniatures.

Told my 1st grade jhs students they need to try harder with their public speaking skills. We are starting over with basic voice training next week. No more passive very goods and well done for weak efforts of speaking. It's time Japan improved their ability with speaking English.
I urge any of you to do the same who have similar less confident classes. To help them in the long run and if anything make our classes more fun.

Edit. The gods have heard my plea. Since posting I have had one of those life affirming classes where you realise the bollocking you gave that out of control class 3 months back has paid off as they all deliver flawless, animated speeches in front of the class. This is one of those rare days where we are reminded why we becAme teachers. Not status, money or security but so we can make what little difference we can and help students to enjoy their learning. Hooray for those special days. Well overdue.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

@ Ash: good for you and your class!

@ Yellow Streak: Awesome!

Today I got in a couple awesome games with the gent down in Toyohashi. Thank you to Mike!

I also plan to get out the paint and put a little paint on something.

I finally finished with my new sorceress. First time trying NMM, as I'm sick of how my 'real' metals look.

Looks cool. Is that a GW figure, or one of the Avatars of War minis?

It's the new-ish plastic GWone. A joy to paint (except the hair). The AOW ones are even more scantily clad :D

This is a Witch Elf that I finished a couple of days ago. I think my general painting is improving but my metals are still mediocre at best, hence the experiment with NMM.

@Yellow Streak: I think your Ogre is trying to compensate for something.
