All the more to shoot with :D I heard the rules for hornets had been updated too?
Eh, wouldn't surprise me. Keeping track of corsair rules is like herding cats. The ones I'm using are in IA apoc:2, I think. Same as the original ones except the pulse lasers that used to cost 40pts now cost 5. Why, thank you sir, don't mind if I do... :?
If it is IA:A2, then you are using an older book. The front cover should have a Reaver on it with a fiery red background. It should be the third IA:A book, but the cover doesn't have a number on it. IA:A2 came out before IA11.
May I direct your attention to the post I put up about army choice and which books to use for your army at NagoyaHammer? I think you may have skimmed over/forgotten something...

Ah, then in that case it ain't IA2. Lemme check when I get home. My intent is to make things as simple as possible for my opponent, and to that end I will use rules from codex Eldar wherever possible. This mostly applies to vehicle upgrades and guns. Any all all rules will be supplied in paper form to opponents on the day. Fear ye not - planning the army and making sure rules are correct is a bit fiddly, but playing against it should be no problem at all.

If you're using the rules from IA11, then please use the rules from IA11 rather than picking and mixing from other sources. I know Eldar got a substantial boost from their new codex, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that you didn't pick Corsairs because they are uber overpowered. Waaayy back on Oct 1st when I posted the rules for the event, I did ask people to stick consistently with whichever armybook they had chosen to use rather than cherry picking all the best rules. This is mainly to save on having to carry a dozen books and to save time looking stuff up, so if you have everything prepared, then don't worry about it.

It would be nice if FW and GW could keep things consistent for more than a few weeks at a time though eh.

Just to clarify, im not picking and mixing, im using the only available 6th ed rules for the models in my army. see this post for more info: http://www.nagoyahammer.com/forum/viewt ... =16&t=2736

I appreciate that my using corsairs is a complication, so i kinda feel its incumbent upon me to make things as simple as possible for my opponents. Apologies for any misunderstanding :)

I worked on my ADL add ons and almost finished my last infantry squad. On the other hand the quad gun I ordered is late so I have a hole in my 1500pts list that I don't know if I should fill with Korps sappers and build (and paint :? ) extra stuff or extra equipment.

No hobby this weekend, too much on what with family and travel to Osaka. Did manage to get to Iconoclast, which is still in business and very well stocked (they have anything you might want GW-wise - as long as you only need only one of it. Not one for multiple stock it seems). Prices are no lower of course.
Got a look at the new IG(AM) stuff. Liked what I saw of the codex. And then, bizarrely, found I myself buying a Ghazgull Thraka.
Anyone got any spare boyz by the way?

Today I managed to get around to my French Artillery battery that I've set aside for so long.
