and on that note, here's a rather nice new genestealer cult vehicle which happens to have a lady spotter. Granted, it's a half-alien lady spotter that probably wants to overthrow all human government, murder all planetary defenders and await the arrival of her new alien overlords, but lady she is nonetheless. GW are doing well with this. Leading the field, you might even say, which is nice, because that's how they used to be.

btw, does anybody know how to embed actual pictures in this forum, without eg downloading it and saving it to something like imgur? Fr example, I'd like to have a pic of yon genestealer vehicle, but cant be arsed down/uploading it myself.

To post an image without downloading it first:
Right click the image and select :Open in new window/tab.
Copy that URL
Return here and click the 'img' option at the top of the posting window, or manually add [/i mg] tags (without spaces).
Paste the image URL between the tags.

The image won't resize to fit the forum though. I'm working on that.

I saw this on the MtG Alters group page. Maaaan is it triggering some people. And, so far as I can tell, yes, those are real cards, altered by the original artists (which they sometimes do/did at conventions and suchlike, or even by commission, if the money is right)

Triggering them why? (Bearing in mind I have never played magic, nor have any interest in ever playing it)
Are the cards rare or something?
So many games, so little time....

Very, very much so. Some of them go for thousands of dollars.

triggering them because those cards (known as "the power nine") are basically the 9 most expensive cards in the game. I'm not sure which edition those particular ones are from (it'd be alpha or beta) but even lowest case scenario, you're looking at many thousands of dollars worth of cards there. Which have been "scribbled on" to quote some folks...
