I think I set some kind of record with these guys too. I got them courtesy of a birthday gift voucher from my sister. They arrived on the 17th March and they were done dusted this morning!

That's an impressively fast turn around for an army. Well done!

I have been working on my own (allied) PTO army for NagoyaHammer recently, but it's still a fair way from completion.

Started 'finking about army lists, so I unpacked my toys and started counting heads. Got Mission 1 squared away, easy. Mission 2 I still need to check my math, but I think is good. Won't be all painted though, most likely. Mission 3 I need to cobble together a couple of Squat Orks. Got a good start on those. Very interesting army choices Prim. Mission 3, at first I was like "Yes! Look at all those Elites! Looootaaaaaz!" Then, I saw they changed them to Heavy Support in the latest codex. Ended up being a real challenge to put something together for that one, as I absolutely HAVE to field 2 Heavy Support units. zapszapdakkadakkazapzap
That is I am assuming there will be some 40K at Naghammer. From the chatter, it sounds like I might have to field my Squats as Germans or something if I want a game. :)

Tip o the hat to ser Spev - a very nice old school marine pic there.

As for me, I've been plugging away with casting up parts for my corsairs. Interesting to note, FW have sold out of their corsair conversion kits. Probly has a lot to do with the new book separating what used to be a mixed weapon squad out into two separate squads. Everybody and their aunty needs another half dozen corsairs or so to make their army functional again. Razzin frazzin rules monkeys etc etc.

Anyway, not much to show at the mo. I've also been puttering about on some Frostgrave stuff, which I hope to be able to show in the next couple days. Onwards and upwards, eh? :)

And this morning I finally finished the Valhallan (Soviet/Russian themed) army I hope to use at Nagoyahammer.
I started collecting these guys back in the Golden Age (aka the post Lehman shock period when the yen went through the roof and Maelstrom and Wayland were offering huge discounts etc)> Most of them have been done for a while, only the Manticore, Valkyrie and Command Squad are new-ish.

But...Pikey...they're not...purple!?!? :o  :o

Srsly, though, those are very nice. I do like a well painted IG army, and have a lot of respect for those who can face painting one. Tip of the hat to you, ser Pike.

As for me, I finished the objectives and familiar I was doing for Frostgrave, and finally cast up enough bits to assemble 5 more corsairs, which I have done. Current painting goals: paint 2 corsairs and 1 Void Dreamer before the end of the month, and if possible paint a zombie and a goblin for Frostgrave. Shouldn't be impossible, but then my parents are due to arrive on the 24th, which could complicate things a tad, but we shall see...

Could be the photography, but I think there is a touch of purple in those washes...... Most nicely done. Valhallans are awesome. Those men work for a living.
And Spev! Fun, fun little illustration. We ought to play some RT again one of these days. But we warned, if you bring that Dread, I'm bringing the Rapiers!

@Spevna that marine is carrying a huge Bong! ;)

Did some work on the space marine Battlebarge and made a shot of my current SM fleet

Also tried Kingdom death Monster yesterday and i like it. set up takes some time, but the mechanics are well thought out.

Nice work on the marines and the guard Pikey.

I got a bit of painting done over the weekend (no pics): last 2 players for my Bretonnian Blood Bowl team, Blood Bowl Ogre, Frostgrave Captain and apprentice, 2 Frostgrave ghosts/wights, a Genie and 2 Snow trolls. Most were in some stage of completion already, so it was a bit of a 'clear out some of the half-painted stuff' weekend.
So many games, so little time....
