There are many things that can be achieved with a brush. There are many things that can be acheived with an airbrush (many air-based things I would imagine). Both tools serve a place in one's arsenal.

M_I_J loves his airbrush and makes good use of it. He also gets many hours out of his good ole Windsor and Newtons too. He spent many a year finr tuning his skills with the trusty sable haired sabre called "a brush".

Airbrushes are good but they will nto turn you into Michelangelo overnight or get that hot Russian bird to drop a Golden Demon on your door step in her sexiest of underwear.

All I am saying is, enjoy thr airbrush but don't neglect the basics.

Now back to shading... I know you use Masking with your work MIJ but do you also stencil things as well.. i have done a few in practice and I must say I like what can be done...

by the way, thanks for offering to lend me your small compressor to try out, I would have taken you up on that offer had I not went out and impulse bought my own. Thanks alot anyway.

I was working on doing some dark energy today... with my iAirbrush ...it is a bit harder than I thought it would be...
