Yesterday I finished off a unit of Arab archers.

@ToD - That hill looks like it'll block LoS quite nicely.

@M_i_J - Careful mate, people might start expecting you to produce awesome minis every week if you keep painting at that speed.
I had a question about the Plague Mortar tank thingie. How gribbly is it? The hull looks like a nice change from the 'Everything is a Rhino' style of marine tanks and useful for some conversion work perhaps. :D

Heathens? Now you are painting heathens? For when the heroic Crusaders?
Plant terrain for Nagoyahammer finished, the ones on the back are totally LoS blocking according to the new rules. Now buildings

It’s actually not that gribbly. The sides have kinda exposed worky bits, and there are a fair few clusters of holes, but said holes could be painted as battle damage rather than rot, and not be unconvincing. The only major gribble is a jagged cut/scar in the front, and maybe a couple of boil-looking things. And yes, it’s refreshing to see a new tank hull for a change. Hopefully they’ll re-utilise it for other CSM tanks (bombards and rocket launchers and suchlike.)

@Primarch: I saw Kingdom of Heaven, and there aren't nearly enough flags in that unit.

I had a rather productive day. I spent six hours straight on the airbrush and got the base coats done for about half of my parking lot.

So, you're saying that I need to buy another new army?
Well folks, you heard the man. Miguelsan Vult!
:D

@Dekana - Hard to carry a banner pole and shoot a bow. The banners will be in another unit.

@M_i_J - Hmm, maybe some putty to fill in the gaps.....
Thanks for the info. Definitely something to think about.

Well, I've had quite a productive (but dull) day of hobbying today.
I cleaned up and assembled a bunch of figures, including a unit of crusading types. I undercoated 100+ figures as it was nice outside. And I put the basecoat down on some WW2 Germans.

Didn't expect that, did you?

And finally got the Rat Ogre finished, at least to the best of my ability. Learned a lot doing this project.

@Konrad: Awesome work, as always! I love the rat-creature. That tail looks gravity-defying.

Today I worked on shading my tanks. Here's a comparison pic: what a difference some Agrax Earthshade can make!

This is a really tedious task though, so it's taking me awhile to get through all my vehicles.

@Konrad - Nice work all round.

@Dekana - The tank looks much better with the shading. Time well spent, I think.

This morning I based a few models and glued some teddy bear fur to the roof of a building to make a thatched roof. Exciting!

Ratty there is looking very nice indeed, konrad. Job's a good un :)

Today I finished Typhus. As usual for the mo, another quick and splodgy pj. Gets the job done well enough, though :) One of the principle benefits to painting nurgle. I'm actually quite curious to see how this method will translate to eldar later in the year.

Also, here's that tank I mentioned a few days ago. Oils still arent dry yet
