I did the skin and eyes the same way as for my daemon engines for some narrative-forging goodness.

I'm not a great painter myself, so I can't really offer much advice but I do like the idea of Necrons looking rusted and decrepit. You could theme your army around a tomb that's been exposed to the elements where the Necrons had to dig themselves out of the ground.

Altogether, I've got... 76 power painted up? I should finish the plaguebearers this week, and I think I'll order a Helbrute along with the Underworlds warbands this next week, just for funsies.Jye Nicolson wrote: ↑Mon Aug 10, 2020 10:34 amLooking great, Dave! I'd ask how many PL that is you've got painted but that might all be changing this week I guess![]()

Yeah. That will last a good long time. I hear it keeps longer if you keep it in the fridge and just leave out an inch or two as you need it. Do they still send them in a single strip? If so, it's best to cut them apart. That spot where they are stuck together will begin to cure over time. Your dude looks good. Love that you got him kit-bashed from like 3 different kits. Sort of old-school Shadowrun vibe going on right now. He for an TRPG?jus wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 3:05 pmWow, people have been really busy I see. Love that Wyvern!

In today's episode of Jus sculpt! The 36 inches of green stuff I ordered turns out ....is ALOT of green stuff. The first 3 attempts at the trench coat were abysmal failures. This one turned out alright. A kit bash of Artel W resin with necromunda enforcer arms and orlock shoulders with a Stallone head.
That's a whole lotta dakka and a lot of lovely little detail. You could really go to town and full-on Tamiya pro-model some of these Imperial kits.
