As I hoped, with the base decoration done and on the board they look fine, and will be easy to differentiate in-game to boot. I'll prime up the dwarf and chaos teams tonight and get in on them next week.

If you're coming to the November games day, I'll have blitz bowl on hand if you want to try that out too! (MiJ, if you can get a copy off eBay or whatever, it might be worth looking for - 30-40-minute game times, generally a lot less to keep track of, and being less punishing in terms of a single roll ruining your day might make it a good fit for younger players. It certainly is for me!
For Blitz Bowl I don’t think you can get just the rule book, and there are lots of card components - player stats, plays to score points and so on - although I’m sure you can find the card text without too much trouble. For Blood Bowl I don’t know I’m afraid, I haven’t been keeping up with the new edition.
My bad, my brain had been reading Blitz Bowl as Blood Bowl and I had forgotten that they made a spin off game. I'll probably pass on getting Blitz Bowl myself but I might end up getting a team for Blood Bowl though when season 2 comes out if people are interested in playing. The Other Dave wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 3:53 amFor Blitz Bowl I don’t think you can get just the rule book, and there are lots of card components - player stats, plays to score points and so on - although I’m sure you can find the card text without too much trouble.
