Also @Dekana love the cockpit glass on those Valkyries (and as mentioned in Discord @Karantu love the kitbashed trukk and the checkerboard Orks).

Today I worked on these emergency bolter sisters (turns out when using PL you want quite a lot of basic bolter sisters as ablative wounds for the multi meltas and very few of the storm bolter sisters I made so many of 😅) as well as a lot of terrain.

Terrain isn't getting finished though so just the sisters in the photo!

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!? :o :o :o stop the press! This changes everything! See, that right there falls squarely into the category of “I did not know that.” If the game is intended to continue past a draw, then clearly the invitation to simply stall and take the draw is off the table. As such, all my previous gripes likewise frizzle away like unto the dew on a bright and sunny morn. I retract all previous complaints and will duly chastise myself for my poor reading skills. As they say in Magic circles: RTCETC*. Or in this case, RTRETR...

Many thanks for your wise words 🙇🏻‍♂️ Glad to have that cleared up 👍🏻

Well it's still there, just only if you think you'll win the subsequent beatdown

The reference is on page 37 of the core - it's actually really easy to miss because it's in the description of the *start* of the game (ie when you draw the card), before most of the actual rules, even though it's about the *end* of the game.

So iffy layout and the missions still are wall spaghetti, but they are intended to have a decisive outcome.

Not a lot of justice done to the really quite nice Warcry terrain here (second set courtesy of Catacombs) but at least it's done for Sunday.

I sort of dig the red/gold thing you have going on there. The gold-plating gives them a Baroque touch Came across this site the other day. If you want to see some much more traditional Sisters, with the Grimdark taken right up to 10.

I am putting the final touches on a couple of figures and have another couple better than half way. I'll get some pics up soon.

Gardens of Hecate is a great site for all sorts of Grimdark/Blanchitsu/INQ28/AOS28/AKB28* goodness.

*Ok, I may have been lying about that last one.

I have no idea what this might entail, but part of me wants to make it a reality.

Bit like this, probably...

Alternatively, a blanchitsuey version of akb could be done as a bunch of kawaii yuurei. All froufrou dresses and twitchy limbs. Probably have knives for fingers, too. That kind of thing.

Just a thought 😁

Not really an idol group but throw in some Yousei Teikoku for good measure.

Here some one craters I made over the last week. I basically followed this video using air dry clay. They still need to be sealed but other than a bit of warping, I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.
