I would think that fielding titans and dreadnoughts in Cursed City may make the game a little one-sided.Jye Nicolson wrote: ↑Sun Apr 11, 2021 4:08 pm
I finished assembling Cursed City and knocked out a couple of journeys.
What did you do today.

Re: What did you do today.
Tried something different than my usual Instagram fitness-model-hot, Digga. Really happy with it, but she ended up about 4mm too tall. So since I took the pic I sawed down and re-pinned her torso and legs. Which will probably make her really fragile.....
The staff looks huge, but a lot of that is the photo.

And I finally finished up the noodle-head alien snipers. The robes are supposed to be rough, but there is some stuff in there that is also pretty rough and I'm not happy with. The pose on the one aiming was a PITA, but I think a bit of putty and touch-up after I paint it will fix it.

...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

@Konrad - Awesome work as always. The noodle heads have turned out nicely, can't wait to see them painted.
Some of you may have noticed that my painting rate has dropped off a little recently. After painting up a few hundred minis over the winter, I felt a little burned out. I have been doing a bit of painting though and managed to finish off one guardsman.

Leman Russ before meeting the emperor.

I'm not sure, but I think Russ had hands even before meeting his father.
Nice work so far, is that the Cursed City bad guy you're using for the base?

@ haha that's right Radukar the wolf is the base for my custom hairdo!

A little less cossack, a little more dracula
Here he is with hands this time

Re: What did you do today.
That looks better. Might I suggest swapping the sword out for an axe? The curved saber still looks quite cossack-y.

Nice sculpting and converting folks!
And Primarch, you've definitely earned as much rest as you need, you've probably already exceeded what the rest of us will do for the year *put together*.
Great guard though!

In my own attempts to get some throughput and get it under control before the next wave hits (let alone the Drukhari still unprimed) here's an Exorcist.
Can I get the Triumph, a Palatine and another Exorcist done before game day? On top of two Castigators for Underworlds?
Probably not! In which case the dreads will roll out.

Re: What did you do today.
Paint motivation has been low recently (beginning-of-semester exhaustion, haha), so I put my Big Guns to the side and did some work on the snake ladies for Underworlds, who I'd had primed but on the back burner for a bit:

We'll see how the gray skin works when they're all done up, and pink hair and red leather might not be a perfect match, but it's early stages yet.
