Gobbo Project: Test Mini

Post by The Other Dave » Sun May 30, 2010 10:24 pm

So I took a mess of Goblins off Mike's hands yesterday, and here (already!) is my first test mini:

"We's as tall as free, wassname..."
Image
"...apples, thass right!"

Again, this is using the dip, and I reckon it looks pretty smurfy -er, good! (where did that come from?) for the tabletop, which is my goal. Since I'm going, in my cheapskate way, for a force made of as much plastic and as much Skull Pass (and as many goblins!) as I possibly can, I'm going to be painting well over a hundred of these little buggers, so fast and easy is the name of the game. I reckon they'll look pretty good with decorated bases and all smurfed up in a unit.

Ranked! Ranked up.

Nice Work Dave. I found the bases at home, next to Kharn :-)
Can you wait until next month for them or if you like I can post them to ya?

Dave realizes that painting 20 goblins a week to get everything done by the next Joshin gaming day is a not-unreasonable goal!

I agree with the Admiral's insightful statement. I have been working on my Smurf jokes in preparation:-)

By the way, is that a Panzer I spy hiding behind the paint bottles?
