McVey's Sedition Wars

Studio McVey's Sedition Wars game has left me fairly uninspired in the past. The minis are all very, very good, but I've just never had much of a thing for soldiery types wiv guns n whatnot. Nice sculpts n all (far better than the IG - sorry IG people), but I dont feel compelled to run out and buy them.

BUT

they announced who the army types will be fighting today.

Mutant Cyborg Killer Zombies! Yuss!

see linkyfor more photos of actual minis and stuff.

what to do, what to do. I really like the new bad guys, but how would I use em in 40k or warmachine or malifaux? Theres bugger all point in starting a new game as other folks will likely not take it up, but dang, them minis are nice and gribbly.

note: i know the chap in the pic looks a bit niddy with his fleshhook sn all, but by and large the basic infantry seem to be more zombie-ish than buggy.

Hmm, the strain I'm not that bothered about, but the soldiers look pretty cool.
However, I am NOT going to get into this as I REALLY cant justify any more games systems right now. And please remember that my usual method of justifying a new game system is to say "Ooooh a new game system!"

@M_i_J - You should probably get more games of Malifaux and Warmahordes in before getting into a new game. I guess you could use the big gribbly strain models as wracks/grotesques/clawed beasties for your Dark Eldar?

In spite of my post earlier today, if anyone wants some sedition wars models, Maelstrom is currently offering a 20% discount. Enjoy.

(And No, I didnt order any).

Those would look good as nasties in a SF based dungeon crawl game.

could be good as zombies for 40k, too. (Whatsisname the nurgle chappy from the FW book can raise a zombie horde.)

Or yeah, general SF shambling horrors would be fine, too.
