Except its 6 bucks for each wall, 6 bucks for the doors/windows for the wall and 6 bucks for the floors, so you're looking at about $18 per section of wall and you'll usually need two to get them to stand up.

Found a minis company I'd never heard of, and they do a limited selection of very nice stuff. Very rackham/labyrinth/dark crystal stylee stuff. Me likey!

You always need to find a good balance between playable terrain and great looking terrain. Those hills are more at the "great looking" end of the spectrum. Flat, carved pieces of polystyrene are more at the playable end, so at gaming events and on gaming tables, they are what you are more likely to see. Sad, but true.
Hopefully this article will inspire more people to build gaming terrain locally though.

I thought that at first, too, but when I looked again, large areas of those hills would be fine for minis. The fact is that on a real-life hill there are plenty of places where a person could not reasonably stand, which is why I think these uns are spot on for gaming. Plenty of standable space, small areas where ya just cant, and they look cool. Job's a good un, I say. Anyway, take em or leave em. When I can gather the energy for making my malifaux table I plan on using that technique, only with a more haunted forest kinda vibe. (I had originally planned swamp, but as you so wisely pointed out, swamp may look pretty, but is a bitch to model and not great for playability, either. So, spooky wasteland with plenty (but not too many) twisted trees on it. And some hills. Maybe a few rabbit holes. Stuff like that

Those hills are basically still stepped "gaming hills", just with a bit more care taken to disguise that fact. They're roughly the same sort of shapes as the Citadel Gaming Hill and Modular Gaming Hill.

Also, you really need to consider what sort of games you'll be playing. Those ones look more suitable for skirmish games, than for massed blocks of troops. For something like Warhammer, you just need to make sure there's room to get your models on there - make fewer, larger hills instead.
