Got my dread finished and looking good.
That's friar tuck behind. The secret to non chalky Matt spray is shake for a minute and a half and never spray in humid conditions. Hot or cold. At dusk is best. Never on wet paint either or dips that haven't had their full 48 hours. And most of all never feed them after midnight.

Today I :

Woke up early.
Spent 4 hours on a train to Nagano.
Attended the funeral of my wife's grandmother.*
Got back on a train (where I am currently sitting) for another 4 hour ride, with a view to arriving back home at about 11:00.
Went to bed before midnight (I hope. I have work in the morning...)

*obviously a sad event. However, she was a very old lady and had been in hospital for a long time, and had been sick even longer. Nobody was terribly shocked when she passed away yesterday morning. Still, she was a nice old lady, although I only met her a few times.

I just had my first go at applying decals. It didn't go nearly as bad as I thought it might. Now it's time to sit back and let the Decal Medium work its magic.

My Eldar are finally on their way. Their craftworld was held up by a savage attack by the Imperium who mistakenly chose a mummified Emperor as their savior from the Bloody Handed God. Alas...they chose...poorly.

Today I base coated and shaded my Warhammer Forge Chaos Spawn. It is is grotesque it needs to be painted immediately before it festers unpainted in the cupboard.
I need the Warhammer winds of magic supplement to get its stats. Have any of you played that?
