What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
@J-R - Nice bunch of marines. No Mantis Warriors though.
@M_i_J - The Admiral? As in Badruck? Was this a return to gaming or just a one off thing?
Today I spent about 4 hours at my painting desk working on some Vikings. Still early days yet, but I did finish up a couple of other bits and pieces that I need to photograph and upload.

He says he's back! Has weekends off for the first time in years, and plans to come to the Nagoya game days as often as he can.Primarch wrote:@M_i_J - The Admiral? As in Badruck? Was this a return to gaming or just a one off thing?
Tonight I basically finished up the last two of my skeletons for Shadespire - another hour or so of work and they'll be done. Also got the first coat of primer down on some more scenery.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Re: What did you do today.
And done!
The Dead sneer at useless ideas the living cling to, like colors, or... well, trousers, apparently. (The first was a deliberate choice I made while painting, the second was something that, once I noticed, I couldn't stop noticing about the models.)
Back to terrain for a bit, then I have some bits and bobs to finish up (more hybrids for ASC in particular) while I think about where to spend my next bunch of hobby money.

Re: What did you do today.
Some Badab War marines of my own.
9 Space Sharks (Or Carcharodons Astra if you prefer) in "last episode of The Punisher" style.
And some close-ups.
And 20 slightly cleaner Saxons.

@J-R - I was going to use GW's 'Bloodletter Ketchup' originally, but I eventually settled on Heinz.
@M_i_J - A lot of those figures are on their third or even fourth paint job and that blood splatter helps to hide a multitude of sins. Plus, I figure exploding bullets fired into fleshy targets at point blank range are going to make a bit of a mess. After doing so many 40K minis before, it's a nice change to do something a bit less sterile.
Yesterday I started construction on a small river for the Fulford event at the end of the month. I also did some more work on a bunch of Vikings.

Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.
