That's a really cool model (the norn emissary thing I mean).

I've now got 750 points of Solar Auxilia all painted up (the core box contents plus a cheeky knight in support), ready for demos next weekend. Can I paint up a similar amount of Imperial Fists before Sunday? Signs point to yes, but even if not I've got the Death Guard I had jus print up all ready to go as well.

@Dave- love the color scheme on that giant, giant, stompy, stompy, robot. That a proper Warlord Titan? That rotary missile pod jammed back there over it's head is awesome! I can visualize the animation crystal-clear. Props to GW. One of my dreams is to get a Knight or something and just give it the full armor scale model weathering treatment and grimdark/gothic it out with medieval heraldry and banners and icons and little shrines perched on its carapace and skulls, skulls, skulls.....someday.....

It's a Warmaster, one step up from a Warlord. Titans are hella fun to paint, I have to say!

I got the first of my Imperial Fists done:

In retrospect, picking a legion whose color is pretty close to my primary basing color was maybe an iffy choice, but whatevs - they'd pop more on a black base but they look fine, and while Ultramarines probably would have been pretty striking on these bases their legion rule requires a bit too much "remembering things" for me.

For my part I have chosen a very deliberate strategy of varying base types to mark out squads, not at all an accident of what I had left in my boxes.

Characters! I got so many characters!

That's it! They've teased eventually releasing Primarchs, but anything much less than that would be essentially "just another commander" at this scale.
(A bit miffed I messed up the way the banners face, but they're glued on tight and I have a couple more stands of these guys to perfect my process with anwyaw.)

Tyranids no longer have the overwhelming power they enjoyed in 9th edition but they do have some cheap little bugs who are great for scoring secondaries, and here are some of mine.

I also started eating my vegetables today and began painting a unit of Termagants. That is...not an efficient process, but it does need doing.
